New InfoPath Book and more!

Last month, our new book hit the shelves!  It is called Using Microsoft InfoPath 2010 with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Step by Step.

The book is geared toward beginners, and has very detailed instructions for all of the walk-through steps in the book.  Even if you’re not a beginner, there are many tips and tricks that you’ll learn along the way.  Here is a photo of Darvish Shadravan and I, at our book signing in the MS Press booth at the SharePoint Conference in Anaheim in October:

But wait, there’s more!

Several of us got together and wrote this book (EUSP):  It’s called SharePoint 2010 at Work
Tricks, Traps, and Bold Opinions: The Best of EndUserSharePoint.com

You can get 40% off by using the code MILLERSP.  I wrote chapter 5, which is about how to create hyperlinks in a data view web part and a list view web part.

  • Although it is geared for the beginner, I lvoed that it advanced to integration of workflow logic using InfoPath rules and SharePoint Designer workflows. This makes the use of InfoPath in SharePoint really powerful for creating no code solutions.

Also, I would like to add that it was a fast book to cover that was fun to read. The instructions were detailed and clear with lots of pretty pictures. One of the most enjoyable tech books I have ever read.

  • Awesome, thanks for the kind review, Wayne!
