I’m not concerned. I think I’ll wait till the year 2023. I bet there will be three versions of SharePoint by then and I’m sure something else will replace it at that time, or sooner.
Hi there, i am in despirate need of assisance, i have a copy of your book Using MS InfoPath 2010, But i am battling to create an InfoPath Form for data entry to an Access 2010 Database for use on Sharepoint 2010.
Is there a detailed explination and instructions to do this?

I am sorry to ask question here but i don’t know where to ask question from Laura Rogers.
I have a custom list in office 365 with a riched text box column. The list is customized in InfoPath. the data in riched text box is not showing in view but when i opened that form in edit mode the riched text box value is visible. There is no rule in that column. I can not recreate that list because it has lots of data. plz suggest how to proceed.

There is not a way to do that.

There are browser compatibility issues with all browsers and the rich text box in InfoPath. My advice is to avoid it.
What is the best way to create an InfoPath form that has both repeating sections and non-repeating sections, that publishes to a list or library, and also gives me the ability to create a workflow to send an email notification to a person/group?
I’ve tried a variety of ways – the SharePoint list form template, but can only get repeating sections, not repeating ones. I’ve tried publishing to a library but can’t get the columns to populate. I’ve tried a web browser form but get limited functionality. And now I’m just stumped. 1) Can it be done? and 2) What is the best way to accomplish this?

You’re right, if you use a list form, you can’t do repeating tables, and if you use a form library form, you can’t get all the data to populate in columns. Hi Patric,
I don’t recommend doing that. You’d have to use a form-filler form, and you wouldn’t be able to make it browser based, AND all the people using it would still need to have direct access to the database via a file share. You can use Access services if you really want to do a database, but that wouldn’t involve InfoPath.
Hi Laura, unrelated question on this thread but I’m trying to convert our onboarding form to digital format. What would you suggest where it will allow me to create subquestions?
PowerApps or Infowise are my favorites.
