Laura at Microsoft Ignite 2017

Are you going to be at #MSIgnite next month in Orlando?  I hope so!  I’ll be there, and I’m looking forward to seeing you and all of my SharePoint community friends!

First of all, did you know that you can set up your own schedule, and also share it?   I’ve picked a bunch of sessions (mostly SharePoint-related) that I’m looking forward to.  Here is my schedule. When you look at it, click the arrows on the date box, to scroll from day to day.  Monday is the default day that it shows, but there’s not much in there because it’s a day full of mostly keynotes.  I’m looking forward to seeing your schedules, too.  Feel free to post them in the comments and state what the “theme” is or what your role is.

The nice people at Microsoft included me in a group of ten “Community Reporters” this year, for Ignite.  What does this mean?  We will be doing man-on-the-street style reporting throughout the whole week of the conference.  This includes interviewing attendees, interviewing speakers, doing live streaming, we’re going to be all over social media, and much more.  The overall goal is to ensure that the attendees are as informed as possible, and they’re learning what they came to learn, and finding what they need to find.  Hopefully as attendees, you’ll get to know us, follow us, and look to us to help make the most of your conference experience.  Don’t forget to use the hashtags #msignite #live

Here we are:

Alistair Pugin, Catherine Wilhelmsen, Christian Buckley, Darrell Webster, Dux Raymond Sy, Harjit Dhaliwal, Laura Rogers, Magnus Mårtensson, Susan Hanley, Tom Arbuthnot

Here is an article on Microsoft’s blog site all about us: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-Ignite-Blog/Introducing-Your-Microsoft-Ignite-Community-Reporters/ba-p/101445

Hopefully you’re on twitter, especially when you’re at the conference.  Here’s a twitter list of all of us: https://twitter.com/noopman/lists/msignitelive/

Also, I’ll be presenting a couple of sessions during the week.  Here is my speaker profile page.
