All Day Workshop: Power Apps and Power Automate for No-Code SharePoint
Workshop Hours: 9 am – 4 pm
Are you a SharePoint power user who builds no code business solutions? SharePoint has always been a powerful platform for those of us in this role, because we can build what we need, quickly and easily. This applies to sites, lists, and especially forms and automated flows. Power Apps and Power Automate are perfect no-code tools for power users in SharePoint and Microsoft 365. In this workshop, get an education on Power Apps and Power Automate, and how they can best be used for your custom business solutions. Some specific Power Apps concepts that will be taught are cascading drop-downs, forms with parent-child relationships, and pre-populating user information in forms. Power Automate will be used to build the automated approval process for request forms that are filled out.

Power Automate presents a great opportunity to modernize and increase the capabilities of your automated business processes. The requirements of your workflows may range from simple to complex, and they all vary when it comes to flexibility and functionality. In this session, learn capabilities of Power Automate, when it comes to the approval actions, details of the integration with Microsoft Teams, and how to customize approvals to bend them to your will. You will learn how to build different variations of approval processes, such as parallel, serial, dynamic approvers, and overdue emails.
