Speaking at the SharePoint Conference in 2019!

I’m looking forward to seeing you all in Las Vegas for #SPC19!

Here are the sessions that I’ll be presenting there:

Session: Making the most of modern out-of-box web parts

There are a plethora of modern out-of-the-box web parts in SharePoint Online! In this session, learn how flexible and useful these Web parts are. Not only will you get a detailed look at several web parts, like hero, PowerApps, news and page properties, but you will learn about how flexible the highlighted content web part is, and what’s brand new in Office 365 connector web parts. Examples are shown, along with comparisons of old and new features. All of this is done without writing any code.

Workshop: PowerApps and Flow for No-Code SharePoint

Are you a SharePoint power user who builds no code business solutions? SharePoint has always been a powerful platform for those of us in this role, because we can build what we need, quickly and easily. This applies to sites, lists, and especially forms and automated workflows. As you may have heard, InfoPath and the data view web part are in the past, they are dying technologies. PowerApps and Microsoft Flow are the new no-code tools for power users in SharePoint and Office 365. In this all day workshop, learn how to work through a solution that was built the old way, and build it with PowerApps and Flow instead. Some specific PowerApps concepts that will be taught are cascading drop-downs, forms with parent-child relationships, and pre-populating user information in forms. Microsoft Flow will be used to build the automated approval process for request forms that are filled out.

Note that this workshop is a post-conference, all day workshop, so when registering, be sure to select a package that at least contains one workshop.  Then, book flights accordingly, so that you’ll still be there that extra day.  And use my discount code ROGERS

There are going to be so many awesome speakers there, and you’ll learn so much at this conference.  Also, this is the largest SharePoint Conference in the industry!  It’s definitely the place to be, to ramp up your skills and network with other SharePoint experts.
