Speaking at the Power Platform Community Conference #PPCC26
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be back on stage at the Power Platform Community Conference in Las Vegas again this year! Mark your calendars, because the dates are October 27-29, 2026. I’ll be presenting two sessions, and both are geared toward business users, makers, and anyone who wants to get more out of Power Platform without writing code.
Here’s a quick heads up before we dive in. Both of my sessions are currently listed for Tuesday, October 27th at 9:00 AM, but the conference hasn’t finalized exact times yet. So keep an eye on the schedule as it gets closer, and I’ll update this post once times are locked in.

Boosting Team Efficiency: Easy Automation with Teams Workflows
Track: Automate | Length: 60 minutes
Let’s talk about cutting the manual work out of your day. In this session, we’ll dig into how Power Automate and Teams work together to make your daily grind easier. I’ll walk through real examples of using flows inside Teams to handle the tasks nobody wants to do by hand. Think scheduling meetings, routing approvals, and keeping project updates moving, all without ever leaving your Teams channels.
By the end of this one, you’ll know how to spot the automation opportunities hiding in your own day-to-day work. And because we’ll cover practical, ready-to-use patterns, you’ll walk away with ideas you can build the same week.
Form Logic Without Code: Business Rules in Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages
Track: Pages | Length: 60 minutes
Here’s the thing about forms: every single one needs logic. You have to hide a field, make something required, set a default, or validate before someone hits submit. In Dataverse, Business Rules let you add that logic without a single line of code. But there are a few gotchas worth knowing before you build your first one.
In this session, I’ll walk through Business Rules end to end. First, we’ll cover how they work and where they fire, because that part trips people up more than you’d expect. Then we’ll look at how the Form vs. Entity scope setting changes everything. We’ll also cover the Business Rules panel tucked inside the Power Pages design studio, since rules that work fine on a model-driven form won’t automatically carry over to Power Pages without the right setup.
You’ll leave knowing:
- How to build Business Rules in Dataverse for common form logic patterns
- How to choose the right scope (Form vs. Entity) for where the rule needs to run
- How to predict which contexts a rule will and won’t fire in
- How to add a Business Rule to a Power Pages form using the design studio
- When Business Rules are the right call, and when it’s time to reach for Power Automate instead
